Official course description: The course focuses on current debates in anthropology. These scholarly discussions are approached through in-depth reading of a selection of often cited and hotly debated contemporary texts. Students will expand their knowledge through profound discussion of key themes in our discipline such as nature/culture, agency/structure, globalization, contemporary forms of capitalism, materiality, body/race/gender and other critical issues.
