Offizielle Kursbeschreibung: The seminar functions as an interactive community of teachers and learners in which ideas and insights are generated, presented, and discussed. At the same time, it offers a forum for the discussion of fundamental theoretical and methodological questions of historical, cultural and social science research on China. These goals are pursued by means of lectures and co-lectures by the researchers, and joint readings. Special emphasis is placed on the practice of scholarly writing and the introduction to analog and digital forms of scientific knowledge representation and knowledge transfer.
