Offizielle Kursbeschreibung: It is possible to evaluate or even measure social human behavior? How it should be done in the case of music festivals? The answers to these questions might be found in some methods of sociology, psychology or even anthropology with the use of quantitative and qualitative research. Event studies as an extension of the social sciences are responsible for these studies and require specific methodologies to evaluate the cultural, social and emotional impacts of the organization of cultural events. This course is an introduction of how and what can be evaluated in a music festival through empirical social methods.
