Pointing out and analyzing existing structures in physics and other natural sciences with regard to the existing underrepresentation of women, discussing the relation to the current social situation, also with regard to other underrepresented groups in society, and working out approaches to solutions. History and biographies of women in physics and other sciences. Students' own experiences from their previous lives and studies.
Note: A part of the course will be organized in the form of two block events (full day).

Notes on the examination: Portfolio consisting of 5 essays on different seminar topics (preparation time 2 weeks each, length 1000 - 1500 words (about 1.5 - 2 pages with a common formatting) and a presentation with subsequent discussion (preparation time 5 weeks, presentation 20 min, discussion 10 min).
